At Window Records, we recommend using state-of-the-art facilities to bring your creations to their fullest potential. Our engineers have worked at some of the finest studios in the world. The list below contains some of the studios we've used and highly recommend.

The Hit Factory/Criteria
Decades of chart topping musical landmarks from Eric Clapton's "461 Ocean Blvd.", (where Golden Beach's mayor now lives) Fleetwood Mac's "Rumors", Black Sabbath's "Heaven & Hell" to the Bee Gee's "Saturday Night Fever". As with all of our rooms, Studio C's acoustics and equipment were modified as superior technology became available.
Hyde Street Studio
Wally Heider opened his San Francisco studio in 1969 in a building that was previously home to an assortment of film offices, screening rooms and storage for 20th Century Fox. Heider's was a quick success, counting among its first clients the Jefferson Airplane, Creedence Clearwater Revival and the Grateful Dead.
The Mix Room
As one of the most popular dedicated mix facilities in the country, The Mix Room is proof that environments can be designed for a specific purpose. The Hidley designed control room is spectrally accurate down to 20Hz, and features Kinoshita/Hidley 20Hz Monitors using TAD components. The centerpiece of The Mix Room is our newly installed SSL 9080J Super Analog Console.
Master Piece Mastering
From Wimberley, Texas legendary music engineer Bully Stull of Norman Petty Recording studio fame has set up the ultimate mastering shop. This state-of-the-art facility has hosted clients from Record Labels such as BMG, EMI, Sony, Warner Bros and many others: -the quality is obviously superior.
Water Studio
Located in Albuquerque, New Mexico this studio has cranked out some the best engineered and produced music in the southwest. Fully loaded with today's cutting edge digital recording equipment this studio has character and quality. Clients include- Eric McFadden, Stoic Frame, The Withdrawals and many others.
