Pale was formed in 1997 by vocalist
and guitarist Calvin Stanley after his departure from El Nihilo. He released
two solo projects and put together a group to play a series of live shows.
The third album entitled high up and away was released nationally generating
a buzz in the indie music community. They have opened for Rodger Waters
and played some pretty large shows in the time since but they always remained
